Classroom Based Assessments (CBAs) provide students with opportunities to demonstrate their learning and skills in ways not possible in a pen and paper examination, for example, their verbal communication and investigation skills.
The framework for Junior Cycle outlines many ways in which students should use digital technology to communicate and assess their learning including:

To support this, Wriggle providing tailored training sessions for teachers to educate on best practice in using digital media tools in the classroom.

· Enhance student learning, by enabling students to learn more efficiently and to reflect on their own learning and to create a workflow for capturing video/photos and sharing with teacher and/or students
· Use Digital tools to collect, record, analyse and display information that will used by students to prepare videos, reports, graphics, concept-maps, databases, and presentations.
· Show students how to critically evaluate, manage and use information by using technology to capture images and video.
· Show students how to analyse their own and others’ performances with a view to developing and improving their own technique and skills
